Nice like wood, only better. The frame has black around the edges fading to dark brown in the middle. It's a wood look, but this material will perform better. Compared to a heavy wood mirror, it's lighter and more resistant to moisture when used in a bath. The beveled glass adds a nice touch.
I'm using it on cabinet made by the previous homeowner. It's hanging by the hardware it arrived with today, but I plan to put two or three piano hinges on the top edge so that it can be lifted up like a hatch to access items inside the cabinet. I might have to hire someone to do this.
