When I recently remodeled my kitchen, I had the bright idea of installing white/light cream-colored tile, not thinking that the kitchen was a central hub and had the most foot traffic due to daily activities like cooking. I am a clean freak, and anytime I see the floor dirty, I have to clean it as soon as possible. I wanted a rug that matched my kitchen and didn't make it look weird with such a huge carpet. Typically, these huge rugs are for the living room or a bedroom, but my floors were getting dirty with the slightest drop of anything. I was becoming irritated cleaning multiple times a day. I spent hours searching online for a rug to match the kitchen vibe, and I also wanted one with a non-slip backing. By the way, Wayfair should do a better job of providing accurate descriptions. I bought a few carpets that stated "non-slip floors" and a "latex/rubber backing," and out of the 4 I ordered, only this one actually had it. It looks great in the kitchen; it doesn't have much shag, which would make the rug in the kitchen look out of place, but it also has a soft feel to it, which is comfortable to walk on in the kitchen. 100% percent recommend this rug for anyone else who is looking for a rug in their kitchen.
