Once it arrived, I used it the very next day. After making pasta by hand with no motorized assistance, I really appreciate this attachment. It has the basic necessary components to make fresh pasta and a pretty good variety of thicknesses. It was super easy to operate. I would be very cautious if you have long hair, and don’t wear an apron with a strap that is freely hanging. I made linguini on the 4 setting and will make it on the 2 setting next time. I prefer my pasta to be a bit thinner. 4 looked good but it did get a bit thicker in the boiling water. I used a simple recipe with 3 1/2 cups of “00” flour, 4 eggs, and a 1/2 teaspoon of salt. What a fun project to do for date night! Once we figured out that 6 is fine to start with and work down to 1 it was smooth sailing. It has two noodle settings the fettuccine is the one we made because the spaghetti is really angel hair pasta. The attachment is easy to put on and easy to clean. You just let it dry put and brush.
