very light weight and flimy and some of the parts were bent and or squished. That being said, it looks pretty good and will get the job done, hopefully hold up, and will have to see what strong midwest winds do to it. The instructions weren't very intuitive and the top roof panels were labeled incorrectly but I was still able to get it assembled with trial and error in probably 15 minutes total. Maybe my fault, but one thing to keep in mind is that the 23" H dimension does not refer to H=Height, but instead is the dimension of the base footprint. The height is ~18". I assumed that H equaled height and that the base footprint was width and depth so the greenhouse did not fit inside my raised garden like I had hoped and I had to use screws to fix it to the garden instead of using the provided stakes.. The cold frame allows you to continue to plant cold hardy plants for several months (or year-round) while you are winding down and cleaning up the garden for the year. Did you know? Micro-climates allow you to grow plants that are outside of your growing zone or season. A combination of a cold frame, an insulated raised bed, and a protected location may allow you to create a climate many degrees higher than the outside temperature. Try growing plants that don’t typically thrive in your area. Protect plants that don’t generally over-winter well by placing them in the cold frame until spring. Experiment and save money by growing your own vegetables and saving plants that would typically have to be replaced. These were exactly what I needed! I recently started an 8x4 raised bed in my backyard that was getting invaded by multiple animals. I couldn't find an affordable 8x4 cold frame cover, so to work around this, I bought 2 of these 4x4 cold frames, which did the trick. I didn't realize this until after I already put them together, but you can combine the two 4x4 frames into one long 8x4 with the zippers. I didn't read the instructions though & ended up constructing each one separately and then putting them side by side, which still worked for me.
