This table is well made and sturdy. The gray color is much lighter in person, I thought it looked almost black online. We returned as the color did not go well with the chairs we ordered for it. The listing also mentions there is not an umbrella hole, but there definitely is an umbrella hole in the table and an umbrella hole in the base to hold it up. 48" is also the smallest size I'd recommend for 6 chairs, it would be plenty of room for 4 or 5 chairs..
