The finish on these plates is so beautiful, they're a bit thinner than my last set and we're a little rough on our dinnerware, lol, but I hope to see these last a good long time. UPDATE 11/28/20 These plates are more fragile than fine china... two arrived broken (which were replaced), but the very first time I used them, a hollow handled butter knife was dropped from just a few inches away and broke the plate!
