Put this together by myself, I had made two mistakes (because the directions were not very clear) glad I had a tool bag with a hammer to take two pieces apart and glad it was metal. It turned out beautifully though! I used the thinnest box spring and a 10” mattress because I wanted to make sure you could still see the headboard with the pillows on the bed.. Lauren. Easily the most attractive bed we have had in 45 years of marriage. Perfect! Would not change a thing. Assembly was a challenge so put our Little Giant ladder to work since there is no way to assemble according to the instructions unless you have very high ceilings in your bedroom.. Mark. UT.
