The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together. Ive had this rocker for nine months and I LOVE IT!!! I have spent countless hours here with our baby, and it is incredibly comfortable. It has two pockets on either side, which I love for keeping some of his bedtime story books in. The color is a perfect light colorneutral that will go with anything. I was initially worried I might not like having something so light in case of stains. That has not been a problem at all. Stains have come out easily with a little warm water and stain remover. I also love the style and that it isnt an obnoxiously bulkylazy-boy style chair. I picked this rocker for our baby’s nursery because it looked comfortable and functional but also cute.
