Great gun concealment shelf. This comes pre-assembled, so all you have to do is attach the side brackets and hang it on the wall. I will note there are no pre-drilled holes on the shelf for the bracket, but if you prefer different brackets that may be a bonus. I appreciate that you can store books on it. Note that the shelf is wide to hold larger firearms, so measure your space in advance. The spinning wheel that comes with the shelf looks like decor, but it's the magnet to open the shelf. I was confused at first how to open. You need to push the shelf up, then it slowly releases. This is better than it just popping open like some models. The foam to insert your handgun just peels out a small piece at a time, so you don't need to worry about cutting it. I did curiously try other magnets in case this "London eye" trinket didn't match my decor, and all magnets I tried worked just fine. The only thing I would change on this piece, is that opening the shelf could be easier. The magnet has to be very specifically placed, which sometimes requires several tries.
