So far, so good with this 2 drawer 26 deep file cabinet. The depth of the drawers is exactly what I needed. I've been using an 18 drawer to help cut down on furniture space in my home office but this cabinet gives me the extra drawer space I needed without taking up too much space at all. The cabinet itself is well made. Like any metal cabinet though, I am sure it will dent if hit with another metal object or if you run into it with a vacuum or whatever. With a little awareness, I'm sure it will last a long time. The drawers glide easily and open up almost completely! I've read other reviews before selecting this piece about drawers not opening fully enough making it difficult to reach your files. The pedestal file cabinets are high quality, however, quality control is unsatisfactory. Over the past month I have ordered numerous file cabinets from Wayfair and EVERY delivery arrived damage. In fact one delivery came in an open box and the cabinet enclosed was clearly used merchandise--it was not a brand new cabinet but rather a cabinet that was previously owned, the file rails were bent, and there were stains on the top of the cabinet from objects place there for a long time.
