SUPERIOR File Cabinet! Commercial grade particle board and quality parts. The design is contemporary and very modern. I chose the Bordeaux and Slate color. Doesn’t look like a File Cabinet. The drawers slide in an out smoothly (they go all the way out and expose all of the hangers) and the guides are sturdy and solid. It has an anti-tilt feature on it. But I loaded the heaviest bulk of files into the bottom drawer to assist the anti-tilt feature, and also placed a small safe on the top of the file cabinet toward the back to give it more weight. A nice feature is adjustable legs to level the cabinet. The hangers can be adjusted for letter or legal-size documents. The only downside is that the grips on the drawer handles are little too narrow to comfortably pull the drawers out, but some handles added on would solve this problem. The assembly is very time consuming but worth every bit of it. The instructions at first look scattered and unclear but after studying them you find that they are very precise and detailed. Bestar, the manufacturer is customer oriented and very supportive. I got a faulty particle board in the shipment and they replaced it without hesitation. The only problem is that they are located in Canada so the shipping takes a little longer. Their Tech support is excellent as I had to call them several times with questions. They were available for live calls during this Covid 19 crises which really made it nice. I have used two difference styles of metal file cabinets and this one beats them both! I bought this cabinet from Wayfair and they are also very customer oriented and a pleasure to deal with. This File Cabinet assembled would easily retail for $350-$450. We like the appearance and it pretty much looks as we expected. The drawers could operate more smoothly. Assembly was not too bad but could be made easier. While all parts are numbered, there are sometimes subtle differences between the front and back of a part that are not obvious. That difference is important and, in our case, required us to mostly disassemble the unit to flip a part. A sticker saying "Front" would have been helpful. Also, one part was defective (pictured).
