This table doesn't fold in half, and the legs are not adjustable. Instead, it is solid, built well, easy to unfold the legs (and the safety features on the legs work well). I doubt it can support 500 pounds, but it is sturdy and doesn't wobble when I place heavy things on it. It's relatively lightweight and I can lift it and put it in my RTV along with my lawn equipment, so I have a solid surface from which to work when I travel to my pasture. These square-shaped tables have become very popular in recent years. To build them right we use exterior grade plywood with runners and legs thru-bolted on. These are workhorse tables, giving you years and years of good service.
