The Gripp grab bar uses a patented mounting adapter and a commercial adhesive. The system is designed for tile, natural stone, glass, metal, concrete, and brick. The bars are made of high-grade 318 stainless steel and are specially designed for use with this system. The bars can be mounted without any measuring, drilling, or tools. The installation is very simple and can be completed in minutes.

My wife loves this, makes the shower much steadier for her. This is the 32 inch bar which works with studs on 16 inch center. The bar is solid as a rock when mounted to the studs. It has a good feel and is good for an adult grip. I installed one of these on a wall with studs on 24 inch center and installed it at an angle to accommodate that span.
