The table looks great but the instructions were WRONG and I thought I was going crazy for a solid 30 min. Had to ditch the instructions and make sense of where the pieces would go, so hopefully this helps someone else.
E and D are reversed (because otherwise the base won’t match up. Make sure the feet of the legs would both touch the ground evenly when you open it and you’ll be on the right track.
