I originally purchased this chair to use at my desk in my home office. Unfortunately, the sides are a little wider than I expected, so I couldn’t scoot in close enough to my desk to work comfortably. That wasn’t a fault with the chair, just something to keep in mind if you have a smaller desk or limited clearance underneath.
Rather than return it, I moved it to my makeup vanity, and it’s perfect there! The seat is very plush and comfortable, and the green velvet is absolutely gorgeous. The color is rich and even prettier in person.
My only small complaint is that the gold base is a bit brighter and shinier than I would have preferred. It’s more of a bold gold than a softer brass finish.
