Quality cupola! I installed this on a backyard shed that has a ridge vent. I cut the ridge vent as recommended in the installation instructions - a bit nerve-racking, but it turned out fine. I stapled screen on the inside of the louvered section to keep wasps from setting up house inside. I added a weather vane - the inside bracket is sturdy. Very well made!. Scott. Pleasant Grove, UT. Quality of construction was second to none. Nice Job! The reason I gave 4 stars is because the unit should of had screens put on inside to prevent wasp nests etc. just like any other roof venting unit.
