I loved this carpet when I put it out three weeks ago. However, the last 10 days of rain without much sun to dry anything out has left it in a sorry state. Lots of black spots and a kind of greening with algae? Not sure what I'm going to do. Next two days of sunshine will tell. May buy a pressure washer and try that. It was beautiful when I set it out. The chair met our expectations. The "light grey" is brown-grey in tone which is what we wanted but just beware if you are looking for a colour that is blue-grey. We have order the footstool, which was out of stock. I am hoping it matches. The assembly was straight forward for us as we are experienced with furniture assembly. A screw driver was handy to hold the nut straight until the screw was into the thread. We used an electric screwdriver for the screws on the "L" brackets. We could have done it by hand, but easier to use a power tool. There is no need to drill a pilot hole, as others describe in the reviews, because the wood is soft.. Caryn. Winnipeg, MB.
