This 7-piece mid-century modern dining set (1 rectangular table + 6 chairs) combines iconic style, practical functionality, and lasting comfort. Crafted from premium walnut veneer, rubberwood and soft fabric with foam padding, the table features a walnut veneer top with soft rounded edges and square tapered legs—signature of mid-century design. The expandable table adapts to small or large gatherings, while the walnut finish complements diverse decor, making it ideal for dining rooms, living rooms, or cozy spaces.

The Claybourne 7-piece dining set brings together a refined extendable table and six upholstered side chairs into one cohesive, ready-to-entertain collection. Crafted from oak veneer over kiln-dried wood, the table's wire-brushed brown finish draws out the natural woodgrain texture with a contemporary edge that anchors any modern dining room. At 66.5", the table comfortably seats six for everyday dining. When the occasion calls for it, the removable center leaf expands the surface to 84.5" — a simple pull-both-ends mechanism that requires no tools — for noticeably more elbow room and a more generous table presence for special gatherings. The sculptural pedestal base with brushed metallic foot accents eliminates corner legs entirely, keeping all six chairs unrestricted and the silhouette clean from every angle.

This set is beautiful and made fairly well considering the price for a full dining set. The table top does scratch easily and has discolored slightly. This has made it a different color than the extension, but it's subtle. It has done well given it's life with my rambunctious toddler though. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.. Brooke.
