Great for small businesses, restaurants, home theaters, offices, studios, or anywhere you are looking to reduce the noise, reverberation and echo in a space. They fit into a standard ceiling grid and can be cut easily with a utility knife. The backside of the tiles are made from high quality soft fiberglass and then finished with a rigid, white non-woven fabric. Light fixtures should be installed onto the ceiling grid and not the tiles themselves. NOTE: These tiles will have a slight light gray appearance when installed.

This is a beautiful tile. I shopped for a glossy white ceiling tile and comparable tiles were $1-$2 more per square foot. This is a flat tile and does NOT have a beveled edge. I placed mine directly over the cheaper acoustical tiles and they look great. I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. They were delivered piled on a pallet and wrapped with clear plastic with the result being scratched tiles. I'm probably the only person that notices the scratches but when you are paying $2.99 per square foot you want a perfect tile.
