This was very simple and easy to use the buttons were self explanatory, but i also cam with a help instruction book and power cable. We set it up turned it on Auto. With this feature it turns on and off on its own, more of a set it and forget it. After its first night went out and checked on it and had clearly attracted and kill LOTS of bugs.
