The 17th century was the first time screw nutcrackers were used, this authentic nutcracker works by turning the screw mechanism clockwise until the nutshell cracks. This decorative cast iron nutcracker has been hand-cast according to age-old tradition and craftsmanship.

I wanted a nutcracker that would work on hickory nuts. I selected an item but decided to ask the question "Will it work for hickory nuts?" Wayfair responded immediately and with the assurance that they would ask the manufacturer. Within a few days, they supplied the answer that it wouldn't, but didn't leave it there; they went above and beyond to identify a product that would meet my needs - and it works! A truly excellent experience that exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Wayfair!. Sharon. Mcdonough, NY. Thu Sep 28 2023
