We ordered the Ora 9-Light Shaded Chandelier in Satin Nickle with the White Frosted Glass shades as a replacement for our existing fixture in our dining room. It arrived quickly and without damage. We found the color of the fixture and the glass shades to be exactly what we were hoping for. The Satin Nickle is not shiny as you might see on Brushed Nickle, rather closer in color to pewter. Instructions were missing from the shipping box. However, we didn't see this as a big issue since we ordered the Ora 5-Light Shaded Chandelier at the same time which came with instructions. Setup and installation will be basically the same for both. Our installation will be accomplished by an electrician since the fixture will be hanging from a 16 foot ceiling. I don't foresee any issues that the electrician will encounter. Two issues relating to the fixture other than the missing instructions mentioned above are note worthy. First the online information for this fixture indicated that it used a candelabra bulb (E12 base). Upon inspection the fixture we received uses a standard base bulb (E26 base). For us, this was not that big a deal but the online information should be corrected if all the Ora 9-light fixtures use bulbs with a standard base. Secondly, the top tier arms were not firmly supported as the lower tier arms. The six lower tier arms are supported at both the top and bottom while the three top tier arms are only supported at the top. This can result in the top arms being attached a bit looser and not as vertically aligned as the lower tier arms. This can cause one or more of the top tier arms to sag a bit especially after the glass shade and light bulb are attached (added weight). We saw this with one of the top tier arms on our purchase after we set up the fixture with all shades and lights. However, once installed this fixture will be approximately 8 to 9 feet above the floor and this slight imperfection will not be visible. Overall we are very pleased with out purchase.. Maurice.
