Mixed feelings! It arrived in a well packed wooden box (plan for breaking down the large wooden box and how to get rid of it!). The craftsmanship is not what I would expect from a plus $2k item. It is made in china (wasn't mentioned in the description). The tempered glass is lightly smoked and well made. The material is just walnut-colored (definitely not solid walnut hardwood). It arrived with several flaws that I fixed with material that was not included; in the pic the glass-front for the drawers was placed in between the drawer front and body (green arrow), I glued it to the correct position with silicone (red arrow) and drilled alternative holes to attach the front to the drawer body. some of the plastic caps on the screws were missing (see pic). The hinges are not soft close and are of mediocre quality; one of the hinges was installed poorly (screw missing and completely out of alignment).. Mmaa. Chicago. Mon Apr 27 2026
