Coastal character meets everyday function in this whale tail door stop, shaped as a sculptural silver marine accent that stays visible at floor level while the tapered wedge slips beneath a door. Made from hollow cast aluminum metal, it mixes polished, mirror-like areas with speckled rough-textured sections, giving the tail and base a dimensional finish that catches light without taking up wall space. Measuring 6.75 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep, this freestanding nautical door wedge is sized for entryway, hallway, bedroom, living room, or home office doorways. Use it in a beach-house interior, coastal living room, or nautical entryway where a functional door holder can also read as decor. Dust with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the silver finish.

Hand-carved of wood with a natural finish, this wedge floor stop features the image of a cute baby turtle. Nengah Sudarsana of Bali creates this charming addition to your home decor

Very small, A lot smaller than I thought, but it does the trick and keeps the door open!. Joan. Mint Hill, NC. Wed Apr 06 2022

Whoever said door stoppers were only utilitarian objects was wrong because they have transformed into decorative accents that add character and charm to your home. Indian artisan Chirag Choudhary designs this set of four-door stoppers crafted by hand from mango wood featuring ceramic knobs with floral hand-painted motifs, a brass plate at the back of the knobs, and an iron fitting to hold them in place on the wooden wedge.

A playful and helpful tool, the Buddy Doorstop features Umbra’s signature Buddy figurine. A new addition to the Buddy Family, this imaginative door stopper helps to keep your door open as it appears as if Buddy is stuck underneath the door. Made out of soft-touch thermoplastic rubber, Buddy Doorstop won’t skid or scratch your floors and will keep door wedged in place.

Great little doorstop! It is not a heavy weighted item that could hurt our grandchildren. We don’t have to worry about them knocking a heavy weight on to their tiny hands!. Margaret. Oconomowoc, WI. Mon Jun 29 2026
