The molding is so beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for. As someone mentioned before the molding has a coating on it from most likely going through the molding process. I used wall paint and it took a few coats. I think spray paint would have been an easier process, honestly. Anyway, I highlighted the scrollwork with an acrylic silver paint after painting it black.
