This medallion should be marketed to use with wiremold application. I am sure many old house owners resort to wiremold. Some of the tubing is visible, but very little. The opening I asked to be cut fits perfectly. The recess of this medallion's profile works great with the box. Ironically, I ordered it to be cut in half, and it wasn't...but I think it worked better this way. We had to take the fixture down, but cutting space for the wiremold line was relatively easy with an Exacto knife. Love it!. Brian B. Fri Jan 09 2026
