I was really worried about how this piece would look, especially being such a low couch. The order was back-ordered and took forever to get here, but I'm very pleased with it! The pieces come compressed and the foam is wrapped in a black lining, which at first I thought was the couch cover but was glad to see the "jean" material covers separately. Putting the cover on the main piece took a couple tries to get right, and the foam needed a day to fully expand & air out. But after that it's really nice, super comfortable and versatile. Love how you can use the square pieces as ottomans, tables, or put one in the center of the couch as a make-shift desk. Kid & parent approved! Definitely more suitable though for a game room/playroom/ basement space than your living room. And for sleeping definitely recommend having a foam bed cover to even out the gaps.. Kim.
