I wasn't really sure about these lights when I ordered of them for our master bath; I was afraid they would be too modern for the rest of the decor. I'm very happy I did purchase them. We ordered the 100-watt base and use 100-watt bulbs, which produces wonderful light. My husband installed the fixtures with the lights facing down rather than up, which ended up working beautifully! He did comment, however, that the bulbs were very difficult to put in due to the small size of the shade. I ordered an additional fixture earlier this afternoon for our guest bathroom.
