Their hardback shades use Virgin Styrene backing board to produce a warm, natural & smooth light more appealing than shades made with recycled Styrene board that can crack & yellow over time.

I did not realize that this lamp only fits candelbera bulbs and can not work as an upside down lamp shade. I managed to make it work by clipping the prongs so that they hold the bulb.
