I am extremely disappointed with Wayfair’s delivery service and customer service. I specifically paid for and selected Inside Delivery. I did NOT choose front-door or outside delivery. When the delivery team arrived, they attempted to bring the item into my house inside a very large wooden crate, but they refused to remove the crate or packaging. Leaving the large wooden crate inside my home could have seriously scratched or damaged my floors. Because they would not remove it, they ultimately left the item outside. I then had to deal with removing the large and extremely heavy wooden crate myself. It was very difficult and physically demanding, especially for a woman handling it alone. This is absolutely not what I expected when I paid for inside delivery. If I had known that “Inside Delivery” meant simply bringing a huge wooden crate into my home without removing it, I would have never paid for this service. The delivery experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable. The product itself is great, but the delivery service and the way the situation was handled by Wayfair customer service were extremely disappointing. Honestly, next time I may be better off ordering directly from China. At least then I would know exactly what to expect regarding the delivery and packaging. Great product, but a very poor delivery experience.. Joe. MA. Wed Sep 30 2026
