The Millwood Authentic Hand-Tufted Handmade Gray, White & Green Modern Educational Street Map Wool Area Rug sparks a love for geography with its interactive, playful design. The pattern depicts a stylized road map complete with intersections, roundabouts, and dashed lane markers, serving as both a vibrant floor covering and an engaging play surface for toy cars. Set against a bright green background—often described as a lively lime or chartreuse—with light grey roads and white accents, this rug adds energetic color to nurseries, playrooms, or classrooms. Each rug takes on average 4 months to craft, resulting in a plush hand-tufted wool construction with a cushioned 0.75" pile that provides a soft, comfortable foundation for imaginative play.
The look and feel of this rug is worth the price tag! The pattern is fun but not too loud. It brings the perfect feel to a kids room. The green is really lovely. It's more of a light pea green and not as yellow as the photo looks. It feels so soft and cushy. I am so glad we went with a real wool rug instead of synthetic fiber. It is much more comfortable to play on than a scratchy polypropylene or nylon rug. One word of caution, we bought 2 because our nursery is long, and there is some color variation between them due to the natural fibers. It's not enough to consider returning it. I imaging this is a rare circumstance, but worth noting.. Kirstyn. Burbank, CA. Sat Jan 12 2019
