This rug is everything I wanted and more! It’s incredibly soft, the perfect size, and absolutely beautiful. It really brings the room together and completes the Japandi look I was going for. Even my dogs love it! I know some people mentioned that the blackgrayish detail looks painted on, but honestly, I don’t have an issue with it at all. The rug is a little thin, but adding a rug pad and securing the corners with tape solved that completely. It doesn’t move at all! I’m so happy with this purchase. It’s beautiful, was a great price, and I would absolutely buy it again!. Ivette. Tue Aug 18 2026

Beautiful rug and very warm visually. The colors in the photo are inaccurate - It is beige with a strong orange/yellow undertones (Think natural wicker) and the art deco stripe reads brown, it has cool gray shades that rein in some of the warmth. Quality seems fine and shedding is minimal. It is not very thick but still soft under foot. I does not fit contemporary esthetics and will probably blend well with some wicker furniture.. Tomer. Set a boho-chic foundation for your stylish space with this beige shag area rug, showcasing hand-drawn tribal motifs in faded hues. Made in India, this area rug is hand-knotted from a wool and polyester blend in a high-low 0.87" pile perfect for rolling out in fashionable living rooms or digging your toes right out of bed in the morning. This rug performs best when paired with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding. Professional cleaning is recommended.

I think the reviews on this rug are interesting and I took them all into consideration before purchasing. First, a 100% wool shag rug is going to shed. A LOT. If you don't want a shedding rug don't buy wool shag. It's that simple. So while I haven't had it long I'm expecting copious amounts of shedding for the first 3-6 months. Wool shag requires CARE. This isn't the type of rug you place it and forget it. BUT you can keep a good wool rug forever if you care for it. You should vacuum WITH the shag not against it. You shouldn't use the beater bar on the vacuum but you should use an old fashioned rug beater outdoors a couple times a year and plan for occasional professional cleanings. The other interesting thing in reviews was the color of the pattern. The Wayfair description says brown & the photo looks grey. Some reviews and photos say red, green and fuchsia. So I found the manufacturer website and it's listed as "Ivory / Multi". I came to the conclusion that they are using mixed fibers to create the pattern and knew to expect variation in color of the fibers used in the pattern. Mine came and the pattern is primarily eggplant purple and grey. No brown, no red. I'm happy with it and would say it's a very subtle neutral that will blend with anything. I would prefer random woven in color to some of the others offered in which they are just dyed or painted on patterns. The rug is thick, plush and hand knotted. I rated 4 stars only because I haven't had it long enough to comment on how it holds up to regular use and proper care. Will update if it doesn't but it seems like nice quality for the price point.. It is a nice rug, soft, good quality. One thing I didn't like is the color. It looks yellowish, not like the picture. But it still looks good in the space. Pretty design, nice size and easy to vacuum.. Maja. Hermitage, TN. Sat Feb 15 2025
