The bears, trees, cabin, and canoes are hand appliqued, and the border has an intricate stippling pattern. 3" Rod pocket featured on the back for wall hanging purposes.

I love the throw, and it does coordinate fairly well with my midnight bear comforter and throw. It is basically the daytime scene of that set. It has a curtain rod pocket, like my midnight bear throw, so the two make great curtains for our bedroom. It is good quality, the equivalent of my midnight bear quilt/throw. I just wish it was a bit more reasonably priced ($278 CAD is very pricey), as my original midnight bear throw was much cheaper elsewhere (around $50 USD if I remember correctly). They are so similar in construction and quality that I questioned this pricepoint, but could not find it elsewhere. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5!. Heidi. Nova Scotia.
