Very nice lamp. Unpacked and assembled easy and did not see any scratches or dents in the materials. The entire lamp including the base is metal with the shaft being one piece. The lamp cord is the standard plastic type. The 3 way switch works. The finger control for the switch was loose in the box but I found it and screwed in so all good. The lamp shade is a little fuzzy and at the top and bottom edges the loose fuzz strands (look like hair stands) stick out. I cut them off where they bothered me. I also have the Alecs 64" floor lamp and at the cost difference of over $100.00 I am not sure I would buy the Villagomez again. This is my edited part. I would not buy this lamp again. Overpriced and not nearly as nice as the Alecs 64" lamp which I have bought 4.. Bill. Fair Hill, Md.. Thu Jun 27 2024
