I haven't hung this lamp yet, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and the box said Kichler. I couldn't figure out the difference between this Darby Home Company light, which was much cheaper, and the Kichler Courtyard light. After much research and still not knowing the difference, I went ahead and ordered this Darby light hoping it wasn't some cheap knock-off of the Kichler. Apparently it is the Kichler Courtyard Light. This 23.75" 1 light outdoor post light with clear seeded glass, curls, and heritage detail gives a distinguished traditional look.

The lantern looks like it was made for my house - it was a replacement for the original that was installed when the house was built in 1983. It is very attractive and was easy to install. I like that it only requires one bulb so that I can change it out for various colors depending on the season (i.e. Blue for Autism Month). I gave it four stars because it is made mostly of plastic and I'm concerned the black may fade quickly and it may not last anywhere near as long as the old one.. Barbara. Allen Park, MI.
