The semi flush features a classic look and satin etched cased opal and clear glass accent glass. The Joelson semi flush is retro inspired and is perfect in several aesthetic environments, including traditional and modern.
Nice looking fixtures. The glass shade is nice and heavy. The light doesn't come through as "white" as I'd like, and I think that's due to the thickness of the glass. I used the GE Reveal HD bulbs to get the true wall color, but it still came out a little warmish after I put the shade over them. I ordered two of these fixtures. One was great, but the second one had small gaps that the light showed through in several places between the shade and the metal ring at the top. No matter how we turned the shade, there was still gapping. We also tried bending the metal ring a little, but it didn't help. We already had it hung before we realized it, or I would've probably returned it for another, but we were able to turn it around to where it didn't show up until you walked behind it, so I decided to just keep it.
