We had few options since we were looking for an unpopular size. We love the look of this rug, the colours, and the soft wool. However, it has no pile but is knotted and is not as thick as we expected. The images show it accurately but the telephone rep inaccurately promised us pile. However, after a great deal of research into cheap "hand tufted" rugs--which are really just quickly "staple gunned" together with glues--we are happy with a truly handmade knotted economical product that won't shed and should retain its beauty.
