This is a stunning rug and it has transformed my room. However my cat loves to scratch it and lots of fibers come up. It’s killing me!! I vacuum up the fibers and it look better but still not as good looking as it was new just a few weeks in so I’m not sure about the longevity of it. But it’s soft thick and gorgeous. This rug is beautiful, and the colors are accurately pictured (midnight blue, slate blue, grey, brick red, pale peach, mossy light green, etc). It is well made with a durable coarse wool and very tight weave that should do well in any high traffic areas.
