I used this in a bedroom so I kept in on the warm setting but I can see if you were to install this in a bathroom or kitchen you would want the bright / cooler setting. Super easy to install, you can either put it in like a regular light bulb or connect it to wiring. The light was nice an even from this and since it's LED doesn't product much heat.
