I have bought and tried and returned so many food processors. None ever were what I wanted or needed. I had the big cuisinart. Way to heavy to get in and out of the cabinet anymore, and operation was a pain in the butt. I have the hand crank type that would flare my shoulder bursitis for days on end, every time.So in desperation I ordered this. It actually sat in my cupboard for 5 months. Never even tried it. Needed to grate a 2lb block of cheese. Shoulder was already hurting, so I got it out. First this thing is so light weight, not in a flimsy way. Set it up which was very simple. Used the shoot bowl and placed the container I store my cheese in underneath it. You DO NOT have to put your body weight against the food pusher to hold it in. Very light pressure, just enough to keep the pusher from bouncing. This thing is quick, dosnt bog down, shoots the cheese out perfectly, and dosnt clog. Like I said, perfection. And so easy to wash. I downt have a dishwasher so thats important to me.
And it dosnt take alot of room to store.
