This is just what we wanted to replace and old, yellowing doorbell. It seemed too expensive but others of the same quality were similarly priced so I suppose this is the going rate. My husband installed it without much fuss, and it has a pretty loud tone but not as loud as I expected. That accounts for the lost star in my rating.
