The sideboard is sturdy and nice-looking. The problem is I intended to use the open space as a coffee bar, but my average-sized coffee maker doesn't allow enough room for the lid to be raised to pour in water or fit in the coffee basket. It would have to be taken out first and I can't imagine the mess and hassle that would cause.
