You cannot tell it is not real marble. The table is a beauty. Touching the tabletop, it feels cool like marble ( even though it’s not) and very smooth. I thought it would have been lighter in color but this darker gray tone is very pleasing to the eyes. The places a light baby blue tea cup to show the color difference. This set of two upholstered Parsons chairs are great. They are easy to wipe clean after my 2 and 3 year old grandkids are finished eating.
