This is a lovely bar stool. I bought two of them for our bar area. The mechanism for swiveling is easy and assembly wasn’t too bad. I am fairly handy and it took a bit longer than described. Love! They do take a minute to assemble, and the instructions aren't great (had to redo a few bolts to get everything to line up properly, tip--get every bolt in before you tighten any of them, even a little bit), but the quality feels really nice. Also, if it matters to you, the swivel is not a "return" swivel. So if you're sitting in it, you can turn around, but they don't automatically return to the original position, which means I still have to go around and straighten them.
