Beautiful pattern in ivory/navy colourway. The material (made out of plastic straws) was exactly what I was looking for - an 'outdoor' rug with thin pile that is mildew proof. My deck floorboards are made out of pressure treated wood and they 'expand/contract' seasonally with changes to temperature. With excessive rains & inclement snow, other polymer/outdoor rugs I have bought in the past have been ruined from dampness, mildew, mould, etc. These plastic straw rugs dry super quickly, hold up well to moving patio furniture and foot traffic while feeling smooth underfoot. While they certainly don't 'feel' or 'look' like a conventional outdoor rug (with thicker pile and less sheen, these machines made rugs (made with plastic straws) are very functional, easy to keep clean (simply sweep, or wipe off debris & stains) and quite affordable.
