Great for indoor smallish plants. Planters themselves are light weight too. You may need to put pebbles/small rocks to stop the planters from getting knocked over if you put tall light wt plants in them. The smallest of the set is too small. So far I've not put anything in it. This set is made more for an informal room but depending on the type of plant you put in it, they may be used in a formal setting too.
