Not only does the oval shape encourage easy movement and flow around a seating area, but this coffee table also adds such sparkle to a room. Pompeii, and complemented by a rich Charcoal-finished base. A perfect transitional piece - it works in both traditional and contemporary settings.
I almost canceled this order a couple of times because the shipping time kept getting pushed back, but it was well worth the wait. It is unique, classy, and gorgeous. It outshines the rest of the furniture; now I feel as if I need to replace everything else! The surface is silky smooth, in a muted gold finish. It is lightly patterned with large squares and 'scratches'; this design is barely discernable yet adds a deeper dimension to the piece than if it had been left plain. The torpedo shape is a standout; it is unique while allowing a more extended coffee table without stealing space from the room, unlike its oval or square counterparts.
