This chair matches the table and kitchen nook benches perfectly! It is a larger chair so it is perfect for my husband. The back of the chair actually has an outward curve to it. The seat pan is big and has a sloped area where your rump and legs would sit. The back of the seat is about 16" wide and gradually increases to 20" at the front. Very pleased with this purchase! **Edited to add a photo of the chair with the table. As the picture shows, the back of the chair has a curve to support a relaxed sitting position.. Dana. MI.
