Easy to put up. Made in China so you should be handy and able and comfortable to manually correct possible misalignments. I had to drill a new hole for joists on both ends for a proper fit but it was easy enough since I fix and install everything in the house. The panels can also be a bit delicate installing. You don't want to hit them with a rubber mallot off from the edges or ding them too hard since they're closed cell polycarnonate panels. They're sturdy enough but if you damage one badly water and ice could get into one of the panels cells/channels.
What I will say is after 2 days and 2-3 people helping here and there the patio cover looks amazing. Everyone comments on it. The price is great. I had quotes for wooden deck covers ranging from 10,000 - 15,000 and no way for light to come through which would have made my livingroom a dark room during the day.
