I prefer 100 per cent cotton. This is 60 per cent cotton batting 40 per cent polyester fiber. Overall it is large enough to cover my large queen size bed with deep mattresses, having enough overhang to cover any bedding underneath. It's also masculine and whimsical enough to satisfy my taste as a man who really digs quilts. Having purchased it during black Friday, I think it is a good value.
